LICENSED AND CERTIFIED PRIVATE BOAT CAPTAIN
Michael Cimino grew up exploring the ocean and waves of Southampton and Hampton Bays. With a passion for the wind and surf, he took part in the town of Southampton’s sailing program and was an instructor for the town of Southampton Swimming program.
JOURNEY TO THE SEA
After graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a B.A. in Marine Affairs and Coastal Zone Management, Michael returned to New York as an Emmy award-winning Camera operator, but his passion for the sea drew him to obtain his captains’ license and begin a career on the water.
CERTIFICATIONS
Captain Cimino holds a U.S. Coast Guard 25 Ton Masters License. He is Insured, and CPR/First-Aid certified.
